One-on-one mentorship for 3D artists, guiding you from blockout to final render. No hard deadlines, we finish when the work is ready.
Models from shipped games and personal projects.
No hard deadlines, no rush. We move through stages with 2–3 rounds of feedback on each — blockout, sculpt, retopology, UV and bake, textures, render. We move on when the stage looks solid.
3D artists who've learned the basics but are stuck — and don't know how to keep growing toward their first offer.
Required minimum to start:
One-on-one mentorship at the pace of your project, not the calendar.
I work in ZBrush, Maya, Substance Painter and Unreal. You can use alternatives — Blender, 3ds Max, Marmoset. The principles carry over.
Fixed price.
From blockout to final render. I take you the whole way — no time pressure, no extra fees.
A single session: portfolio review, growth plan, or a specific problem.
My name is Sergei Chesnokov. I've been in the game industry for over 14 years.
I started my career at the outsourcing studio Sperasoft as a Junior 3D Artist and grew into Associate Art Director. Later I joined Larian Studios. I currently live in Sweden and work at DICE (EA) as Character ExDev Lead.
Projects I've worked on include: Star Wars: The Old Republic, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Baldur’s Gate 3, Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield 6.
I specialize in both hard-surface modeling and organic forms.
I've been a lead for more than 6 years. My main job is to grow and support both external and internal teams — training, documentation, written feedback. Mentorship is also a core part of my work. All of this lets me keep refining and improving my course.

I take on a small number of artists at a time so every project gets enough attention. Send a short message and a link to your portfolio — I reply to every email within 48 hours.
